UpLinkAI is a CareerTech and Workforce Development platform designed to bridge the gap between student learning and career earning — through personalised guidance, AI-assisted tools, internships, projects, mentorship, and skill development resources.

UpLinkAI operates as a bridge platform: we connect students with collaborative organisations, training partners, and educational communities to deliver curated opportunities and learning services. We do not directly employ students, and we do not guarantee employment, internship selection, or any specific career outcome.

What UpLinkAI Is

• A CareerTech & Workforce Development platform for students and early-career learners
• A bridge between students and skill-building opportunities, partly supported by AI-assisted tools
• A community platform delivering services directly and through collaborative partners
• A platform currently designed, owned, and operated solely by its Founder & CEO, with formal company incorporation under consideration as the platform grows

What UpLinkAI Is Not

• A registered placement agency, recruitment firm, or employment guarantee service
• An incorporated company, partnership firm, or LLP at this stage
• Directly affiliated with, accredited by, or formally endorsed by any college, university, or company mentioned on the Platform, unless explicitly and individually stated
• A financial institution, investment platform, or lender

These Terms of Service ("Terms"), Privacy Policy, and related policies govern your access to and use of UpLinkAI's website, tools, AI-assisted features, and all associated services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using UpLinkAI, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform.

Who Can Use UpLinkAI

The Services are available to individuals who meet the following criteria:

• You are at least 13 years of age. Users under 18 must have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian to use the Platform and to enter into any paid transaction.
• You are a student, learner, educator, or professional seeking skill development or career growth.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law, or you are using the Platform under the supervision of a parent/guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
• You are not barred from using the Services under applicable Indian or international law.

Account Creation

When you register an account on UpLinkAI, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Not create multiple accounts for deceptive or fraudulent purposes
• Accept full responsibility for all activities conducted under your account

Verification

We may require email or phone verification during registration, including OTP-based verification, to confirm your identity. You are responsible for ensuring that the contact details you provide are valid and belong to you.

By accessing or using UpLinkAI, you expressly agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and UpLinkAI ("Platform"). Your continued use of our Services after any modification to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes via email or platform notifications.

Modifications

UpLinkAI reserves the right to modify, update, or replace any part of these Terms at any time, at its sole discretion. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, data, or user accounts
• Scrape, harvest, or collect user data from the Platform without written permission
• Upload or distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Impersonate UpLinkAI, its founder, partners, or other users
• Post false, misleading, defamatory, or offensive content
• Engage in spamming, phishing, or unsolicited commercial communications
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform
• Use our AI tools to generate illegal, harmful, or abusive content
• Violate the intellectual property rights of UpLinkAI or any third party
• Circumvent geographic or access restrictions intentionally built into the Services
• Falsely represent UpLinkAI's credentials, registrations, or affiliations beyond what is explicitly stated on this page

Termination

UpLinkAI reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

UpLinkAI delivers its services directly and, in some cases, in collaboration with partner organisations. Our services include, but are not limited to:

Service Availability

As an actively evolving platform, certain features may be in beta, experimental, or subject to change without prior notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to all services at all times. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time, at our sole discretion.

No Placement Guarantee

UpLinkAI does not guarantee job placement, internship selection, certificate issuance criteria changes, or any specific career outcome. Our platform provides tools, structured programs, and access to opportunities; final selection decisions for internships or roles rest with partner organisations. UpLinkAI acts solely as a facilitating bridge platform and does not act as an employer of record for any internship or opportunity listed.

What We Charge For

UpLinkAI charges a platform/service fee for the following:

• Premium membership access and exclusive features
• Curated opportunity listings and priority applications
• Advanced tools and career-acceleration features
• Certified programs delivered directly or through partner organisations

Pricing

All fees are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to applicable taxes. Pricing may change over time with reasonable notice. Changes will not retroactively affect plans already purchased.

If you believe you have been charged in error (for example, a technical double-charge by the payment gateway), please write to uplinkai.connect@gmail.com with transaction proof. UpLinkAI will investigate genuine payment-gateway errors at its sole discretion; this does not constitute a right to a refund for any reason other than a verified duplicate or erroneous gateway charge.

Payment Security

Payments are processed through trusted third-party payment gateways and UPI rails. UpLinkAI does not store your complete card or banking information. All transactions are encrypted and subject to the relevant payment provider's security standards.

Nature & Currency of Partnerships

UpLinkAI works with a range of collaborative entities to enrich student opportunities. This list of partners is not static — it changes over time as new collaborations begin and others conclude. The current, authoritative list of active partners and collaborators is the one displayed on UpLinkAI's homepage at the time of your visit; this legal page describes the categories of partnership rather than guaranteeing any specific named partner remains active.

• Collaborative Companies: Technology, skilling, and cybersecurity organisations (such as SecureWires, KokoLab, iDigitalpreneur, VegAI, and Adroit Computer Center, where currently active) who collaborate with us to provide opportunities, projects, or resources to students.
• Educational Institutions: Colleges and universities including but not limited to Lamrin Tech Skills University, IIIT Delhi, VIT Bhopal, IIMT Greater Noida, IIT Ropar, NIT Jamshedpur, BITS Pilani, Delhi University, and BHU Varanasi — from whose student bodies our user community is drawn.
• Government-Aligned Programs: Initiatives such as Google Skill India and other government-aligned skill-development programs that we reference, signpost, or facilitate access to.

Third-Party Responsibility

UpLinkAI does not control and is not responsible for the actions, content, products, or services of partner organisations. Any dispute arising from services delivered by a partner entity must be addressed directly with that partner. UpLinkAI acts only as a facilitating bridge.

No Liability for Partner Services

UpLinkAI shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or dissatisfaction arising from services, events, or interactions provided by collaborative partners, affiliated organisations, or third-party platforms — even where UpLinkAI facilitated the connection.

Trademark & Brand Names

All company names, brand names, logos, and trademarks mentioned on UpLinkAI's platform belong to their respective owners. Their mention does not imply endorsement of UpLinkAI, nor does it constitute trademark infringement. They are used for descriptive and informational purposes only, consistent with nominative fair use principles.

UpLinkAI takes the accuracy of its public credentials seriously. To avoid any ambiguity, our verified standing is stated precisely below, and this section takes precedence over any conflicting marketing language anywhere on the Platform.

References to "hackathons" or "ideathons conducted" refer to events organised or co-organised by UpLinkAI for its student community, and do not imply any additional government or institutional certification beyond what is stated in the table above.

UpLinkAI's Property

All content on the UpLinkAI platform — including but not limited to logos, design, UI/UX elements, text, graphics, branded outputs, software code, original course content, and branding — is the exclusive intellectual property of UpLinkAI and its Founder. All rights are reserved.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, or create derivative works from any UpLinkAI content without prior written permission.

Your Content

When you submit content to UpLinkAI (such as portfolio pieces, profile information, or user-generated submissions), you retain ownership of your content. By submitting content, you grant UpLinkAI a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content within the Platform for the purpose of providing our Services (for example, displaying a generated certificate or portfolio item).

DMCA & Takedowns

If you believe that content on our platform infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at uplinkai.connect@gmail.com with the subject line "IP Infringement Notice." We will investigate and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Feedback

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide regarding UpLinkAI's services may be used by us without any obligation of confidentiality or compensation to you.

UpLinkAI is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our Platform, and is intended to align with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, which have begun coming into force in India on a phased basis.

Information We Collect

• Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and password when you register
• Profile Data: Educational details, skills, career goals, and portfolio content you voluntarily provide
• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time spent, and interaction patterns on our platform
• Device & Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
• Payment Data: Transaction records (we do not store full card numbers)
• Communications: Messages you send us via email, forms, or chat

How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and personalise your experience
• To operate, improve, and develop our AI-assisted tools and services
• To send relevant notifications, updates, and communications (you can opt out)
• To connect you with relevant opportunities through our partner network
• To process payments and maintain transaction records
• To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• To comply with legal obligations applicable to us as a Data Fiduciary under the DPDPA

Who We Share Data With

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with:

• Service Providers: Trusted third-party providers (e.g., Firebase by Google for authentication, Google Sheets/Apps Script for structured data capture, and payment gateways) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations
• Partner Organisations: When you apply for opportunities or enrol in partner programs, relevant profile data may be shared with that partner — with your knowledge and consent
• Legal Authorities: Where required by law, court order, or a legitimate request from the Data Protection Board of India or another competent authority

Your Privacy Rights

As a Data Principal under the DPDPA, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request erasure of your personal data and account (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Withdraw consent for data processing where consent is the legal basis, with the same ease as it was given
• Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity
• Lodge a grievance with our designated Grievance Officer, and thereafter with the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved

Data Storage

Your data is stored on secure infrastructure provided by Google Firebase, Google Sheets/Workspace (for structured records such as certificate and enrolment data), and associated cloud infrastructure. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, consistent with the "reasonable security safeguards" standard under the DPDP Rules, 2025.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Upon account deletion, we will make reasonable efforts to delete or anonymise your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., transaction records, certificate verification records).

Cookies & Tracking

UpLinkAI uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to:

• Maintain your login session and authentication state
• Understand how users interact with our platform (analytics)
• Improve platform performance and user experience
• Remember your preferences and settings

You can control cookie settings through your browser. Disabling certain cookies may affect platform functionality. We use Google Firebase Analytics and may use other analytics tools to gather anonymised usage data.

Children's Privacy

Some of UpLinkAI's programs (such as the Digital Skill Lab) are designed for school students in Class 6–12, which may include users under 18. Where a user is a minor, we require verifiable parental or guardian consent before processing the minor's personal data, in line with the DPDPA's special protections for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without such consent. If we become aware that we have collected such information without appropriate consent, we will take immediate steps to delete it. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided us with personal information without consent should contact us immediately at uplinkai.connect@gmail.com.

Data Breach Response

In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected users without undue delay, consistent with the breach-notification requirements under the DPDP Rules, 2025.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, UpLinkAI expressly disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Guarantees of uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the Platform
• Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided through the Platform
• Specific career, internship, or employment outcomes resulting from use of our Services

Limitation of Liability — Including for the Founder Personally

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UpLinkAI and its Founder & CEO, in his individual capacity as the sole operator of the Platform, shall not be personally or otherwise liable for:

• Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform
• Loss of data, profits, opportunities, or goodwill
• Actions, omissions, or services provided by third-party partners or platforms
• Unauthorised access to your account resulting from your failure to maintain security
• Inaccuracies in AI-generated recommendations, content, or outputs
• Decisions you make based on credential, certificate, or recognition information displayed on the Platform, provided such information was accurately stated per Section 7 at the relevant time

Where liability cannot be fully excluded under applicable law, the total aggregate liability of UpLinkAI and its Founder shall be limited to the amount you actually paid to UpLinkAI in the 3 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless UpLinkAI, its Founder & CEO, and any future officers, collaborators, or agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your use of the Platform; (c) any content you submit; or (d) your violation of any rights of a third party.

UpLinkAI is a student community platform built on respect, integrity, and genuine growth. We expect all users to uphold the following standards:

Respect & Inclusion

• Treat all community members with respect regardless of background, caste, religion, gender, or nationality
• Do not engage in harassment, bullying, discrimination, or hate speech of any kind
• Do not post content that is obscene, defamatory, or sexually explicit

Honesty & Integrity

• Do not misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or identity on your profile
• Do not submit fraudulent applications for opportunities
• Do not claim credits, certificates, or achievements you did not earn
• Do not alter, forge, or misrepresent any certificate issued by UpLinkAI

Platform Integrity

• Do not attempt to manipulate platform algorithms, ratings, or review systems
• Do not share your account credentials with others
• Do not use automated bots or scripts to interact with our platform

UpLinkAI uses AI-assisted technologies to provide personalised career guidance, recommendations, and automated interactions. By using these tools, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Nature of AI Outputs

• AI-generated recommendations, career paths, and content are suggestive in nature and should not be taken as professional career, legal, or financial advice
• AI outputs may contain errors, biases, or inaccuracies. Always exercise your own judgment
• UpLinkAI is not liable for decisions made based solely on AI-generated content

Acceptable Use of AI Features

• AI tools must be used only for lawful, ethical, and educational purposes
• Do not attempt to manipulate, "jailbreak," or extract unauthorised information from our AI systems
• Do not use our AI to generate harmful, illegal, defamatory, or misleading content

AI Data Usage

Your interactions with our AI tools may be used, in anonymised form, to improve model performance, enhance recommendations, and develop better platform features. No personally identifiable interaction data will be shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

Third-Party AI Services

Some AI features may be powered by third-party AI providers (such as language model or chat-widget APIs). In such cases, your inputs may be processed by those providers in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

Applicable Law

These Terms and all matters relating to your use of UpLinkAI shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Specific applicable statutes include:

• The Information Technology Act, 2000 and IT (Amendment) Act, 2008
• The Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, to the extent still applicable
• The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 (in force on a phased basis from November 2025)
• The Indian Contract Act, 1872
• The Consumer Protection Act, 2019

Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the use of UpLinkAI's services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Dispute Resolution

Before initiating legal proceedings, we encourage you to first contact us at uplinkai.connect@gmail.com to resolve the dispute amicably. We will make good-faith efforts to respond to any complaint within 15 working days.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies posted on the Platform, constitute the entire agreement between you and UpLinkAI regarding use of the Services, and supersede all prior agreements, representations, or understandings.
